Our Mission

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light .

— 1 Peter 2:9-10 NIV

The Portland Church of Christ is a fellowship of believers who desire to follow Jesus. We do not have any denominational affiliation but we try to love and co-operate as best we can with the body of Christ universal. We have no creed; we believe reading the bible with an open heart and faith will lead us to find God’s will.

We strive to be a family of believers known by our love for one another. We want to help those seeking the Lord but who have no community, and we strive to serve the communities where we find ourselves, whether they are seekers of Christ or not. Our weekly reunions are spirit-filled, and we try to made the messages practical and useful in everyday life.

If you’re a seeker and hope to find a community that will welcome you, come and see what we’re all about.
