A Play For A Purpose
In March of 2010 we found out Lisa has cancer. Small cell, lymphocytic lymphoma entered our vocabulary and changed life as we know it. To date, oncologists call this cancer incurable, but we believe with prayer and the treatment Lisa is undergoing there is hope.
The Portland church covers as much of our expenses as possible. The treatment for Lisa is beyond our budget. But churches around the world have been helping us by donating money to the Portland church, which in turn pays the expenses of Lisa’s treatment. One way they’ve been doing this is hosting me to do “A Play for a Purpose: the Gospel of Mark”and recently I’ve added a second character which I’ve performed in Africa and New York, “Nicodemus!”. If you’d like to help, contact me please. I’d love to bring John Mark or Nicodemus to you.
You can also make an online donation here if you’d like. It would be helpful and appreciated.
This is just a brief preview…
What People Are Saying…
“Imaginative yet Biblical. Artistry wrapped in truth. John Mark…a powerful performance that will make you laugh and make you cry. A fascinating monologue that opens your eyes to experience Jesus. In the end, you’ll only wish for more”
Elder / Evangelist
Northern Virginia Church of Christ
“It was the best gospel show. The audience, the disciples and friends were so impacted. They still talk about it until today. We would recommend it to every church; it will boost great spiritual spirit. We had many people responding and study the bible afterwards. One of them is a fashion designer who was a free thinker and learning to read the bible. She was so impacted. She is still studying the bible until today.”
